Time to make some ice cream. Ellen had the idea, so she and the boys made a large bowl. I couldn't believe how good it really tasted.
And I finished off the night with my favorite thing to eat when its really cold-- cabbage and ham with cornbread. I am not sure why I like this so much in winter because I don't remember eating it that often as a kid. But it just hits the spot for some reason.
We need an Ellen over here at our house to make us all those yummy goodies! We made some snow ice cream last year, but forgot this year!
